RESULTS Baseline Characteristics Between June 2019 and March 2021, a total of 9650 individuals were randomized (4825 per arm), of whom 2596 (26.9%) participants were receiving SGLT2i at baseline (1296 in the oral semaglutide and 1300 in the placebo group)
