The high content of aldehydes groups (40-60 moles Glyoxal /ml gel) in this resin provides a very good option to conjugate affinity ligands without distorting the target ligand and hence improves the stability of the ligand
In the cytoplasm, Keap1 homodimer forms ubiquitin E3 ligase complex with cullin 3 (Cul3), which polyubiquitinates Nrf2 protein leading to its continuous proteasomal degradation ( Figure 3, right)
